Reflexology is a method for activating the remedial resources of the body. It deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body.

This non-invasive technique supports the body to naturally correct, strengthen and reinforce itself. Working these reflexes promotes relaxation, improves circulation and helps the body to return to its own state of balance.

It can help with a variety of problems including management of pain, nausea and vomiting, constipation, headaches and migraine, poor sleeping, stress and anxiety.

Reflexology is a touch therapy and by working these reflexes can have a deeply relaxing effect, releasing tensions and encouraging the body's natural healing processes. It can help with a variety of conditions including management of pain, nausea, constipation, headache and migraine, stress and anxiety and chronic fatigue.

METAMORPHIC TECHNIQUE

Involves a light touch along the spinal reflex points on feet, hands and head. It may be either seated or lying down – whichever you find most comfortable. Most people find a Metamorphic Technique session very relaxing and enjoyable. It can be used by anyone – young or old, healthy or infirm. It draws on reflexology in its theory and approach.

REFLEXOLOGY LYMPH DRAINAGE (RLD)

This new technique, developed by Sally Kay BSc (Hons) while working in cancer care, focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body, which may help to reduce the discomfort and difficulties resulting from secondary lymphoedema of the arm following treatment for breast cancer.

FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY

A holistic reflexology treatment carried out on the face; the client is fully clothed and lies flat on a treatment couch. It works by using gentle facial massage techniques for precise stimulation of reflex points, nerve points and zones on the face and scalp.

Treatment Time: This can vary from 30 to 50 minutes to suit you.
